I am writing to share an important update regarding the practice. As I prepare to transition into a new chapter of my professional journey, I am pleased to introduce Dr. Mohita Marwaha, who will be taking on a leading role in the continued care of our patients and the future of the practice. Many of you may already know Dr. Marwaha, as we have been working closely together since 2022. During this time, she has become an integral part of our team, and I have had the opportunity to see first-hand her professionalism, clinical skills, and commitment to patient care. She brings extensive experience in general dentistry and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centred care, ensuring that each patient feels comfortable, informed, and well looked after. Dr. Marwaha shares the same values that have guided our practice from the beginning—kindness, respect, and a strong focus on patient well-being. I have full confidence in her ability to continue providing the high standard of care you expect from Doon Village Dental, and I am delighted that she will be leading the practice moving forward. To ensure a smooth and seamless transition, I will remain involved in the clinic on a part-time basis over the coming months, working alongside Dr. Marwaha and our team. This will allow for continuity of care and provide ongoing support during this period. Please be assured that our commitment to your care remains unchanged. Taking over the reins of this wonderful practice from Dr. Hala is an honor, and I am committed to maintaining the high standard of care and personal attention you have come to expect at 600 Doon Village Road.
As a woman in dentistry, I understand the importance of a gentle touch, clear communication, and building long-term relationships based on trust. My goal is to ensure that every visit you have with us is as comfortable and seamless as possible. Whether you are coming in for a routine hygiene cleaning or a more complex procedure, you can rest assured that you are in experienced and capable hands.
I bring with me 15 years of clinical experience and a passion for modern, patient-centered dentistry. My philosophy is simple: to treat every patient like a member of my own family. I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental advancements to provide you with the most effective and efficient treatments available.

Dr. Hala Kazbar works as an associate dentist at Doon Village Dental. In this capacity, Dr. Kazbar brings more than twenty years of experience in general dentistry and oral health care to her patients. Her passion for dentistry and her love for helping other people were the main reasons behind starting her own private practice. In addition to working in private dental offices in London, Kitchener, Quebec, Dr. Kazbar worked at Public Health Units in London and Hamilton where she enjoyed offering dentistry and dental hygiene services to kids, families and seniors. She is committed to educate her patients and to provide them with comprehensive and affordable dental care. She treats her patients like family to ensure that their dental experience is free from fears and anxiety. In addition to English, she fluently speaks Arabic and French. Dr. Kazbar lives in Kitchener with her family since 2014. In her spare time, she loves walking her dog and enjoys reading and travelling around the world.

Dr. Mohita Marwaha is the owner and the principal dentist at Doon Village Dental. Dr Marwaha was born and raised in New Delhi, India. She received a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from India in 2006. She pursued her Masters in Pediatric Dentistry and then practised for few years in Delhi, India before moving to Canada. Dr. Marwaha obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, London, Ontario in 2021. She is well known for her patient care and gentle chair side manner. She prioritizes the patient above all and tries her best to ensure that patient leaves the clinic happy with healthy smile. During her free time she enjoys travelling, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Mohita Marwaha
Enthusiastic about working in the field of dentistry, Shamsheer is a member of our Front Desk staff. She has 4 years of experience in the field of dentistry back home. While upgrading her education in Canada, she has been working as a Dental Administrator for almost 2.5 years. Studying Healthcare Administration, she is very passionate about demonstrating leadership skills in the field of dentistry and healthcare. Demonstrating proficient interpersonal skills, her responsibilities include processing information, utilizing paper and electronic management systems, scheduling appointments, and handling financial operations. Our patients find her friendly as she is multilingual and believes in providing patient-centred care.

Antonia graduated from The Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences with honours in 2017. She is committed to the dental hygiene profession and enjoys providing preventative care to all of her patients. Her favourite part of being a dental hygienist is helping people understand how important their oral health is. Outside of work, Antonia enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, as well as listening to true crime podcasts. She is fluent in German and English.

Meet Wendy !
Wendy graduated as a Dental Assistant in 1994, became a Level II CDA in 1996, and joined Dr Mohita in 2026. She has worked as a Dental Assistant until 2023 and started working as a receptionist part-time as of 2012. She loves fostering a friendly, comfortable patient environment.
Her warm demeanor helps deliver great care and ease nerves during visits. Wendy’s passion for people makes every appointment welcoming.
She enjoys learning about cultures and languages, painting, and spending time with family on fun activities.
