MEET THE TEAM
Dr. Hala Kazbar is the owner and the principal dentist at Doon Village Dental. In this capacity, Dr. Kazbar brings more than twenty years of experience in general dentistry and oral health care to her patients. Her passion for dentistry and her love for helping other people were the main reasons behind starting her own private practice. In addition to working in private dental offices in London, Kitchener, Quebec, Dr. Kazbar worked at Public Health Units in London and Hamilton where she enjoyed offering dentistry and dental hygiene services to kids, families and seniors. She is committed to educate her patients and to provide them with comprehensive and affordable dental care. She treats her patients like family to ensure that their dental experience is free from fears and anxiety. In addition to English, she fluently speaks Arabic and French. Dr. Kazbar lives in Kitchener with her family since 2014. In her spare time, she loves walking her dog and enjoys reading and travelling around the world.
Enthusiastic about working in the field of dentistry, Shamsheer is a member of our Front Desk staff. She has 4 years of experience in the field of dentistry back home. While upgrading her education in Canada, she has been working as a Dental Administrator for almost 2.5 years. Studying Healthcare Administration, she is very passionate about demonstrating leadership skills in the field of dentistry and healthcare. Demonstrating proficient interpersonal skills, her responsibilities include processing information, utilizing paper and electronic management systems, scheduling appointments, and handling financial operations. Our patients find her friendly as she is multilingual and believes in providing patient-centred care.

Office Administrator
Enthusiastic about working in the field of Canadian Healthcare, Shamsheer holds the position of our Office Administrator. She is extremely passionate about providing patient-centered care and demonstrates her leadership and management skills through her strong work ethic. She is a Post-graduate in Healthcare Administration and has been working in the field for over 3 years. From back home she has 4 years of experience in the field of Dentistry. She is responsible for handling financial operations, managing electronic and paper-based health records, coordinating treatment plans and scheduling workflow. Our clients find her very friendly as she is multilingual and believes in working with empathy and compassion.

Antonia graduated from The Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences with honours in 2017. She is committed to the dental hygiene profession and enjoys providing preventative care to all of her patients. Her favourite part of being a dental hygienist is helping people understand how important their oral health is. Outside of work, Antonia enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, as well as listening to true crime podcasts. She is fluent in German and English.

Bev obtained her credentials in Intra Oral Dental Assistance from Medix College in 2014. She has been working alongside dental care professionals for the past six years. She is excited to leverage her knowledge and experience to ensure Doon Village Dental patients are happy with our services, especially those who are uneasy when it comes to dental visits. In her spare time, Bev enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog, Bailey.
My name is Lyne and I am currently studying Psychology and Science at the University of Waterloo. At Doon Village Dental, I am on call to help keep things running smoothly; so you might see me behind the front desk at times or scheduling your appointment! Both at school and in my professional life, I am a hard worker dedicated to helping others.

Jesse holds the position of a certified dental assistant at our office. Jesse obtained his credentials as a level 2 intra-oral dental assistant from Georgian college in 2018. Jesse also attended the University of Guelph and obtained a bachelors degree in biomedical science. He has worked with a variety of dental specialists throughout his career and is excited to further his knowledge and experience alongside Dr. Kazbar.
